Pressure balance valves reduce the risk of scalding by ensuring that the water temperature stays within a safe 3º F (1.5º C). Most municipalities now require a pressure balanced system when applying for a permit for new construction or remodel.

Note: This is not an exterior "Trim Kit", it requires in-wall installation of new solid brass and copper mixer and waterways.
